The children are overjoyed.  Mr. Seku teaches them how to take care of their little Beauty, bids them goodbye and continues on his way to catch a riverboat to a marriage feast in Cape Palmas.   The twins reach the front of the market and sit on the steps of Mr. Sulliman's Corner, a store they normally patronize when in Monrovia.  They are discussing whether Ma Yatta will let them keep Beauty when Raoul, Mr. Sulliman's son sees them and the monkey.  He calls for his father and offers to buy the monkey.  He wants to replace a monkey he lost.  "I'll call her 'Habibi' like my last one."
